Unusual Cloud pattern observed by Satellite

Cloud Wake formation observed by MODIS
Cloud Wakes from Juan Fernandez Islands Look at the 'V' shaped cloud free region.....!
The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite captured this natural-color image of the Juan Fernandez Islands on April 29.

It is an unusual pattern of wake formation in clouds.....
2 small islands off Chile produced this big effects in the atmosphere.

It's all part of Fluid dynamics + atmospheric physics.

The islands create obstacles to wind thereby creating a giant V shape of cloud-free air.
