Image
I present a simulated Eclipse view which I designed out of my curiosity. Lunar Eclipse 15-16 Jun-2011 over Thiruvananthapuram simulated using the free software 'Stellarium' Close up view Animation-1: Time series of Zoomed view of Eclipse. (recommended view: click and view full screen)  distant view Animation-2: Time series view of sky from a fixed point on ground. Moon is marked with 'red' dashes around. It moves from top-left corner to bottom-right corner. As time progress, the eclipse darkening can be observed. (recommended view: Full Screen)
